To be fair, I think when and if possible, animals *should* be treated ethically, but yeah, there is such a thing as over-reacting to a scene in a video game, which is make-believe. I'm guessing no real rats were harmed in the making of Battlefield 3.

Explain this to me.
What makes things play out so differently that a soldier doesn't find you and kill you in this version? You make roughly the same amount of noise and it takes you about the same amount of time to actually kill it.
