I tried this today. The taste was great, but I think that rolling the cake while still hot turned the steam into water and made the cake not spongy but saggy! Next time, I'll let it cool before I roll it.

If you let it cool,it will break on you.Rolling it while still warm gives it what they call "shape memory".
The reason for your saggy cake is maybe your towel is not absorbent.

نجاة عايزة اسأل هي الطريقة دي ينفع اعمل بيها السبونج كيك بردو؟ و كمان هل خطوة تسيح السكر مع البيض على البخار بتفرق في طريان السويس رول؟ و نفس السؤال بردو بالنسبة للزبدة هل لو استغنيت عنها الرول مش هيكون طري؟ اسفة لكثرة الاسئلة بس فعلا تحفة
