Taken from the forthcoming Fifteen Years of Hospital Records album, released 28.11.11 on Hospital.

Bringing together a superb collection of VIPs, remixes and original material, the "Fifteen Years Of Hospital Records" album provides a comprehensive overview of the label's past, present and future.

Boundary breaking Reso steps up to the fore on the A-side of sampler 2 with his "Voices Of A Distant Star". A characteristic mash up of sounds and styles, the track starts with shimmering SFX and trance-y synths and builds with rolling breaks and euphoric sweeps into an explosive volley of shuddering bass jerks, growling subs and pounding drums in a dense, dubstep-inspired soundscape. A secret weapon to draw for when the dancefloor needs a dose of energy!

Resos "Slap Chop" and "War Machine" have been previous standout cuts on Hospital Compilations and this new offering continues to raise the bar.

  • I am a bit upset that the US version has way less songs then the UK version, honestly I would pay for the UK version, but Itunes wont let me.

  • @Royxopp Got it for xmas:)

  • Oh damn, that intro reminds me of jazz jackrabbit 2!

    *forever alone*

  • Just got this one on vinyl...

  • Wonderful vibes. The best thing about this level of quality is that you can actually remember it the day after. With all the vacuous noise out there, this tune sticks out in a healthy way.

  • reso is such a genius

  • I do rate Reso. He's got some really musical ways! Can sound really heavy and really musical at the same time. Prefer him to the Hospital mainroomers in a way... just waiting for a really batshit crazy track that really gets into people's heads...

  • oh gosh its sounding sik sik sik

  • @DJRiskyBusiness You're very right.
