Making a beat with Sony Acid Pro by Hi-Fly

A tutorial on how to make a beat using Sony Acid Pro.

Steps:

1. Select a sample (usually a song)
2. Beatmap the tempo of it
3. Change the tempo of the whole song to suit you
3, Chop the sample to create your own arrangement
4. Add snare, kick, hihat... and do the drums by placing the samples where you want
5. In addition (which is not shown in the video) you might want to create a bassline

i got the trial of acid pro and im thinking off getting it but can anybody tell me what i need, im a beginner and i want a synthesizer, i though a synthesizer would do everything but my dad told me i would need keyboard,synthesizer and a computer to use the program but wtf please respond also im looking for the off 500$ to 2000$
