One of the main reasons why we put on weight is because we eat when we're NOT hungry. Why do we eat when we're not hungry? Because we get bored, lonely, stressed, tired, fed up etc. This video shows you how to use EFT tapping to take away those emotional triggers for eating excess food.

    Just a quick question: is there any reason why you favored your right hand? Would it be a good idea to use the other sometimes to balance it out, or does it matter? Thank you!

  • HI thanks for your message. No there's no specific reason for using my right hand, I do sometimes changes hands intermittently. I've heard research has been done on this, and it doesn't matter which side you tap or which hand, it still stimluates the meridian. So just go with what feels comfortable.

  • This is excellent ! Despite her accent, I do understand enough of what she is saying to be able to make use of all the wonderful statements she has come up with. I have used EFT (tapping), with success for some things, but for others it is taking more time. I feel i would use it more if i could come up with better statements and hers are EXACTLY what I feel about food and eating! Thank you for sharing so that i can do more EFT for my eating issues, and hopefully resolve them.

  • How often should you do these eft sessions?

    Is it best to go through them all one day at a time then go back and redo the ones that speak to you?

  • @TheTreacle52 You must look at it this way. You spend an entire lifetime with negative thoughts, emotions, and judgments about yourself and others. They do not always disappear overnight or even in a few weeks. Some issues can take months or even a few years to completely clear. It's often like a MLM scheme when you're trying to get to the root cause. For every one negative emotion, there are 5 more holding it in place, and then more for those 5...you get the idea. Find the root cause.

  • @lauralikes Have you actually learned about EFT works effectively? You actually need to go through and say the 'negative' things that you feel about yourself in regards to your weight, eating, or whatever it is you are working to change in your life. You are bringing up the energy of that 'negative thing', and then it gets cleared through the tapping. When you tap, it's like you are 'short-circuiting' the connection between the mind on body in regards to a negative emotion.

  • I just read about EFT for depression. And I found your video very helpful and funny because you cover such a wide range of emotional compulsions around eating. I am grateful that you had the courage to make this video and allow the public the freedom to access the information. Especially since so many therapists charge huge fees and copyright material. May the universe bless you on your journey through life.

  • I have tried the tapping, but to no avail. Is it just the continual repitition, that is supposed to do the trick.? If you hear it often enough, you get the picture? It dos'nt seem to work for me. When I'm bored, lazy , tired or down, I will eat. Hav'nt been this bad ever, only ten kilos over, but have reached a stage, I do not even care. Please explain on YT, why the repitition at all. No one ever does,

    I was eating as i was watching this (how embarassing) and immediately stopped and didn't even want to look at any food. Which I shouldn't have wanted in the first place, because I was definitely not hungry but bored.
