The Guitar's lament (Tomnoung Guitar)

This is another song from Sin Sisamouth that I have sung at my 2009 Concert at Chaktomuk Hall in Phnom Penh. It accompanies a journey of a family on the boat which will bring them to Phnom Penh and describes the life of the population on the Mekong River: the mangroves, the immense river, the wide river banks, crowded with vegetable gardens, the children playing in the earthy water.

The king of songs writer and singer, for me Sir Sin Sisamouth's songs are still the best. It still takes my breath & heart away every time I list his song. Now Basbapenh sing in Engel voice form even better. It still fresh, now we have 4 lines highway from Battambang to Pailin, and it is beautiful road to drive to see the mountain and forest.
