It's interesting to note that in 1968; a lot of fans were worried that The Youngbloods would never recover from the departure of Jerry Corbitt. This album reassured everyone that not only would the band survive but they would continue to creatively blossom.

Banana (West Coast), cosmic brother of Zal Yanovsky (East Coast)... two guitar heroes that never got their due. Great keyboard player, too (I bought a Wurlitzer because of "Ride The Wind").

Thanks for posting. Elephant Mountain was a GREAT album. Has anyone ever put it over to a CD? Would love to buy one. I've got the original vinyl around someplace.
