On one hand you talk about sins and how to live by the bible and on the other you kill living things and eat them... This is exactly the kind of behavior that turns people away from religion... Hypocrisy.
If I were in nature, I wouldn't MILK another animal and drink it... kind of sinister. ;-^

Another great video from Jordan Rubin! I like that he combines fitness with his religion. Why not? Other folks do it with new age or eastern religions. Why not do a What Would Jesus Eat type of thing? lol.... I put this video on my blog today (TheSKinnyOnline) so my readers can learn :-)

You don't have to follow a RELIGION created by men to follow the laws that the creator gave these people. It would not just bring health for the Hebrew people, but for ANYONE who observed to practice and obey them. There were not different anatomical designs for Hebrews and then for other people. Following the wisdom of these laws will bring health to EVERYONE. (smile)

While this can be seen as religious, it seems to me the basic seven steps are quite good recommendations and universal.
I would insert meditate, reflect or "love" in the place of god, to make this more accesible to those who steer clear of things that smack of religion.
The seven steps he speaks of is what the Bible speaks of inorder to give us our best quality of life. The Bible is not about religion, but how to get the best out of life according to the original design and purpose for each individual. to meditate, reflect or love will not direct people to the source of this information. All of what he is speaking about is contained in the bible, and he has used research and the miracle of the bodies ability to heal itself when we follow God's original plan.

Rubyn, I've been reading your book "The Maker's Diet" once finished, likely to look into this seriously. We've made kefir from unpasteurized goat's milk so far, (had to go out to a goat's farm for the milk) and blew me away with energy, hard to think that something so basic can almost immediately make you feel so good, far better than Red Bull, lol. Anyway love your enthusiasm for God's plan for our lives. Ps do you have any longer videos, Dvd's etc. Please contact about this, thx : )
