We've just had a death in New Zealand which is "maybe" linked to this vacine and I remember reading last year about the issues connected with it. I don't see waht teh big debate is. If it causes harm, DON'T PUT IT IN PEOPLE. We need to put our foot down on this one, no more shugging it off. I'm so tired of our medical system screwing people, right down to the Sodium Floride in the water. I'm so sick of hearing abou it, we need to DO something about it. Now, not later. -Liam

Sad. This is just very sad. To think that our government is now trying to mandate taking this vaccine as a law. Of course, they have to try to make up the money Merk lost when forced to pay fines, lawsuits, etc. from some of their other drugs lately. It just wouldn't 'do' to allow big pharm to lose money! Disgusting. I hope people stop taking this vaccine NOW, and if the government tries to force our hand, take to the streets. Riot. Do whatever is necessary to save our kids.

you can all debate and disagree as you like. But this 15 yr old girl is my Gr-daughter. And due to the High content. Of the mercury & components in Gardasil. She is Now Terminal. Due to the damage to her Central Nervous system. Which can Not be repaired or undone. SO IN ANSWER TO THE QUESTION- ARE HER SIDE EFFECTS EVEN LONG TERM? J WOULD SAY- TERMINAL SAYS IT ALL. We watch her fight Daily to stay Alive.

'Transatlantic'...Once again, who do you work for? You're a shameless promoter of Pharma and obviously are employed by them or the FDA or CDC. A drug lobbyist or rep perhaps? Come clean... What vaccines, pray tell, do you take yourself? I think they've messed w/your brain. You have too much time on your hands. Do something constructive like volunteer at a soup kitchen or a rehabilitative hospital where they can certainly use someone of your calibre to empty bed pans, etc.

promoting gardasil? not at all. i promote vaccines in general. I promote HPV vaccines, i've refered before to i.e. cervarix.
No long term "neurological damage" was seen in any of those 11k girls. and no deaths correlated to the vaccine.
the money was paid for the adverse reactions and if i am correct 1 death (not correlated to the vaccine, but that happened in the same timing). since 86.

This vaccine has caused significant neurological damage among girls w/over 11,000 adverse events reported and 40 deaths. These numbers are under-reported in that less than 10% of vaccine reactions are registered w/VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System). Over $91 mlllion was paid out in 2007 for vaccine damage/death and close to $2 billion since '86

"there are other factors at play" which ones? do you even know why HPV causes cervical cancer? the mechanism? i stated just correlation, but the scientifical explanation also exists, i used the stats to simplify.
I agree with you. i prefer cervarix: it has more cross protection, but Merck has made a better deal... but you can buy cervarix, but it will cost more (because vaccines are not money -makers)

i do educate people about alternative views, the difference is i support my claims with study, evidence. Not assumptions based on pure fear.

Because it is a vaccine against a factor who represents more than 70% of cervical cancers. Read the tests, medical technical explanation, microbiology about the virus. Read the pathological mechanism. Don't read about the technical aspects of anything coming from a journalist with no background in science.

The family felt "pressured by the commercial"? How about TURNING THE IDIOT BOX OFF and KEEPING IT OFF? It was a very expensive PROPAGANDA CAMPAIGN to INFLUENCE ppl's THINKING ..and apparently it worked on a large % of the population.Just the way they were SELLING it,and so hard too,I KNEW it was bullsh*t. I knew it was dangerous&told all my friends with young girls NOT to get this shot,and why.And to look into ALL "vaccines".

If you only sleep with your husband, you don't even need it. Ever think of that one, America? How about the fact that this only protects against four virus' & there are 40 more out there? Keep your germs to yourself, or at the very least, use some protection. Then tell them to shove their shots. One place I lived tried to REQUIRE girls to take the shot, even if they were virgins who planned to stay that way until marriage. What is wrong with this stupid world? Let's try VALUES again. Good grief!
