  • They both sound great and like an OD should. But I'll give the nod to the Rockbox Boiling Point because it sounds like it has just a touch more dynamic range and plus it looks like melted chocolate and caramel ice cream.

  • were do you get all this equipment do people send it to you or what is the deal

  • I would have to say that both pedals sound great, are versatile and 'dynamic', and can accomplish 2 completely different tones.

The BP had more 'presence', headroom, clarity, and brighter high end/ mid range

Where as the LDO had a tendency to go a little bit muddier of a route (not to say that the tone couldnt be tweaked to change that) and had a thicker, fatter, and fuller crunch vs the BP which had more of a bright and crisp chunk. Both different, and I would have to get both to see which on

  • The RBP sound a bit fuller and more dynamic at certain settings but at the end put little drum and bit of bass around and no friggin' difference.

  • what is all this wvheired whowling noises?

  • Save me a piece of that corn, Jack Black!

  • I'd say the Rockbox, PLUS it's cheaper than the Landgraff by $100, and appears to be more versatile. No brainer there...

  • Rockbox is way skankier and looser

  • The only problem with this demo is that these are 2 completely different pedals. I work at a music store and we get Landgraffs and Rockbox pedals in. The Landgraff will sound just like the Rockbox and vice versa at points but not with the knobs in the same position. The parts used are going to have completely different tolerances. What I did notice is that the Rockbox was WAY louder from the get go.

  • Rockbox Boiling Point - louder, brighter, crisper, sounds more scooped compared to the LDO

Landgraff Dynamic OD - smoother, sounds mid'ier

    BOTH - sound equally amazing!

***as always, it depends on what other gear you're using, how all of your gear complements/works against each other, what sound you're looking for, how it feels, and what you're willing to pay***
