Well, I wasn't saying you couldn't believe you were right. That's fine by me.
As far as the socialism thing, today Al Sharpton proclaimed that anyone who voted for obama voted for a socialist (yes, those were his words.) He said Americans "voted for socialism when they elected president obama." I'd say that if obama's friends are saying that, it's just a matter of time before he shows us what he's really up to.
And yeah, I've been to Europe a few times and it's nothing special. ;)

well your logic opinions is flawed, after all i'm not changing mine either, but that aside that's fine. as for the uk, to be honest i don't actually know what it has to offer tourists, it seems like all the stuff americans love about it is the shit stuff.
the idea that anyone thinks that america is anywhere near socialism, with or without the healthcare bill, is laughable though. i'm pretty sure this fear of socialising aspects of american society is all just bad feeling left over from the 50s.

You can disagree. That's fine. I'm presenting my points, you presented yours. I'm quite sure I'm right though. If I thought I was wrong, I'd change my opinion, wouldn't I?
And I'd venture to say that if the NHS the best thing about the UK, I won't be headed there any time soon. ;)

Very good points man... can't say I follow these topics close enough to have a valid opinion, but I respect how in-dept into this subject you are... props!
wasn't the declaration written by people who thought white men are the only ones that should have public rights, people who thought it was fair to own someone yeah so i guess if we all go back and follow the DI then we should all go back and get a slave kick all the women out of office replace them with men and strip them of their right to vote.

@KRBTarheel10 I don't think you understood the point of this video. The point is that if we try to use the Declaration, which is not law, to justify a law, we are setting a dangerous precedent for government involvement in the day-to-day lives of citizens.

wait, so who is being discriminated against with obamacare? i don't like obama but i think this is the first good thing he's done. regardless of what all those documents from hundreds of years ago said, socialising healthcare is just basic humanity and something america should have done years ago. there will still be private healthcare. people diss the nhs but it's still the best thing about the uk.

@tommusthecountryman It's going to cause laziness to skyrocket alongside the national debt. We can't afford this and it's a stupid decision. I said in the video, if we socialize healthcare, which is not constitutional, we will basically be redrawing the lines of what is acceptable for the government. We need less government involvement. We need insurance to be able to be sold across state borders.
