true, but at the same time, which are you gonna get a better blues tone out of, a fender or an ibanez?

WHY?! Most if not all the original Blues guitarist started off playing with a Box and string. Guitars dont make music. Musicians do.

i liked it man, i have an ibanez rg 2550 prestige and with the pickup switch in the 2nd or 4th position you get a great blues sound, but i have DiMarzio IBZ's in mine so i dunno. anyways, awesome improv man.

yeah, it's been discussed to death how this isn't the blues. it's rock blues, and i don't have a lot of guitars so it's what i played.

personally, going by my own tastes.. a bit too much distortion there.. muddling the sound and eating into the clarity... personally I prefer a warmer sound... then again could be the mic/line in capabilities of the recorder. but that's just me... loved every note otherwise... :)

thanks - i agree. i've since rolled back the distortion and have a much warmer tone now. thanks!
