Stay Tooned! That was great. (So was Rolf's Cartoon Club, which of course was the reason why it existed.)
Andy Taylor is much younger and livelier than other BBC1 announcers from this time - you can tell he was of the Swap Shop generation, sort of ("groovin' away" is cringemaking, obviously). We had to postpone a journey from the SE to our relatives here on Portland that weekend because of the rough weather - we went a week later, with fireworks all the way back to London ...

i was wondering if you had any footage of the opening titles, to a tv program called 'coasting'
which was on around 1990.. it was about 2 brothers who were kind of gamblers, set in blackpool... not sure if it was on bbc or itv, its so long ago.. sorry that my comment has nothing to do with this video :) but i'd like to see it again all the same..
