A very interesting and inventive pianist; even more interesting is how she manages to keep from falling off the bench at that angle! Shades of Fred Astaire dancing on the walls....

Taken from a live performance at the Teresa Carreño on september 23rd, 2007.The Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra was conducted by Lorin Maazel. Once she finished Grieg's concert she got back to the stage and immediately said: "Today is Giovanna's Birthday, a friend of mine and a member of the Orchestra. She´s going to kill me, but Giovanna, this goes you". Then she started to improvise the well known "Happy Birthday" from classic composers to jazz and venezuelan waltzes.
