As could the millions from the collection plates and tele-evangelism hotlines every year. But if those who chose to give wanted to support their church, this ad or whatever by their giving, who has the right to divert that money elsewhere, however worthy the cause? There are plenty of 'starving children in Africa' charities if that was the giver's preference.

Ariane is a cutie, and the perfect voice for such an ad campaign. Her angelic demeanor will make it almost impossible for anyone to accuse her of being shrill or strident. I am sure some will try. In her interviews and appearances, she holds her own, and does a great job of staying really even keel.
