Friends ask which dip bait hook setup I like best - this shows several methods but I like #2 treble hooks with a spring (from hardware store) - then the 'furry thing' from teamcatfish - then the #4 spring treble hooks (but they are too small IMHO)

  • I use slip cork - and fish about 1 - 2 ft off bottom. Haven't fished much in past couple days - too hot. Went out tonight at 6:45PM - but the fish didn't start biting until 8PM - then I got 6 or 7 (lost count) - see new video

  • I have found that ball point pen springs are the perfect size to slide on treble hooks - you can order 50 at a time on eBay really CHEAP. They take about a month to ship from China but it's worth the weight. Just do a search on eBay for "ball point springs".

  • hey man about getting the stink bait on your hands man.....just use a spoon or a paint sturing stick it works fin just push it in then flatten the bait on top and pull it out it works great
