1970 Galaxie, 460 start- up.

It's been cold down here lately, but decided to get it out of the shed today, before the rain comes back. need to put it away again for the rest of the winter.

Galman, what are the rear wheels on that? and if they are not huge.. is the car lowered? and if lowered, by how much?

They were 15x8 Cheviot Armorlites, but since this video are now Cragars with a 4" backspace. The car is lowered by about 2", and the wheels clear the fenders, but need a slight bit of cutting the lips on the rear. It's got 275/50 BFG Radial Tas front and rear.

nice car mate,the 2 door looks great still big,i just bought a 1969 ltd 4 door,but would have loved a coupe version,mines black with red interior still factory except for the wide steel rims,gotta love the yank iron tho,its big i eats up the juice but who cares lol,2 i have owned,i was very lucky to get this one as down in tasmania we dont get to many usa cars and what there is here no one wants to sell them,anyway mate tryelly nice car i am jealous
