Reid: GOP would slash Medicare & Social Security while protecting tax breaks for yachts & jets

Harry wants to see an open checkbook, how much do we want these people from both parties to spend of money we do not have. I hate to think about the mess these idiot politicians have gotten us into. We need to have more personal responsibility. Harry knows that both Social Security and Medicare cannot be sustained like it is. What is his plan other than trying to scare people. I can tell you we will all be scared when we cannot borrow any more money to try to pay for what we can't possibly pay.

Social Security is not solvent. New congressional estimates say the trust fund that supports Social Security disability will run out of money by 2017, leaving the program unable to pay full benefits, unless Congress acts. About two decades later, Social Security’s much larger retirement fund is projected to run dry as well. It's time to REFORM ALL GOVERNMENT ASSISTANT PROGRAMS NOW -- ELSE WE LOSE THEM! How about the first step to get millionaires off SS and Medicare?

All of the double talk we hear is bullshit. They will go after SS and mediacre because its so easy to do. A few ides to cut Stop paying Abudabe 16 billion for aircraft furl and use of airfields as well as Saudia Arabia near 5 billion maybe more to use and purchase fuel.Cut the Salaries of these politicians. Even better put them on the plam we seniors have to live with. Wy are we waiting to ACT!!!!!
