@pianoprodigy987 she did play it for 56 seconds. there was just extra time in the video.
-
wonderful. it was mentioned in one of Saramago's books (Death with Interruptions)
-
@carmelinda62 ccually she is playing it slow, if played at full speed this etude would be a mere 56 seconds, he extended the notes so we could hear it better
-
I think she plays it too fast. It's a pity!

@thegoodgeneral You must be joking. Your not listening well enough. Do you not hear how she plays this? I cannot explain the details because it's played very thoughtfully but too dry? Pfft and I'm guessing robotic describes how you see it performed. It looks really fluid like water to me.

20 idiots.

@thegoodgeneral oh thats a bunch of bull, unless you can play it better you shouldnt give a professional concert pianist interperating advice...........especially when the is the heart and soul of chopin himself

-
in my opinion, valentina is the best interperater of this piece :)

I <3 this piece. Every time I listen to it I follow it on a score and the quantity of notes you have to play at the same time is just unbelievable. I can't wait to see you at the RAH :D
i think now we know who invented ragtime and jazz music! :)
