@evoartsinc I agree, the first time i went to compete it was very hard on the nerves. Get your feet wet then go to more advanced. After about 10 small tournaments, you are ready to fight at a higher level. Cardio, cardio, cardio.

screw what the last guy said. thats what i call fighting.
it seems like the little, what i like to call 'community center' martial arts competitions are leaps and bounds funner to compete in and watch then big official matches.

I agree, and they're a great way to get started in competition. Why would anyone throw a rookie into the cage for their 1st match? Community competitions are the best way to get started imo.
