from 0:47 it reminds me a lot of the stoic theme from The Shawshanks Redemption's OST, so i was pleasantly surprised when i saw that the composer for this movie was also Thomas Newman.

This music is brilliant. I didn't really notice it during the actual "Swim Down" scene, though. It made much more of an effect on me when it was playing during the scene when Marlin tries to keep up with the boat.

Wow...this is one of my favourite parts of the movie and the music was brilliant there. But not seeing the fish overpower the net made 0:47 have a different effect on me. Sounded like hope was just about lost to me, whereas it sounded like a victorious anthem to me in the film! 1:05 brought the latter effect instead without seeing the scene.
