@ROADTRAIN23 7400's 7800's and 7900's have that same K5HLL too
-
When it comes to BNSF,I love the K5HLLs on the 6600 series ES44C4s and 7200 series ES44DCs.I caught a BNSF stack train yesterday in Emeryville with GEVO #7277 on the point with an awesome K5HLL!!!

i think the 07 or 08 batch is the best

@ROADTRAIN23 yeah man! you got yourself a supporter!
-
K5HLL's rule!!!
-
2009 batch is defiantly the best, but I would think the speed of the trains would affect how we hear the horns just a bit
-
I love both the K5HL and the K5HLL horns!They got this sound that just says YOU DON't WANNA MESS WITH ME! If I had to choose just one,I would go with the K5HLL.I LOVE HEARING THEM!!AWESOME VIDEO!
-
The second one is my favorite.

I suppose catching SD70ACe's and Amtrak P42DC's would do it, preferably Heritage Units!

Very nice shots. I'll probably go to Martinez sometime. I'm guessing that your line up was IOALB, IOASE, and then ZNPOA. Does the BNSF line run south of where the station is?

Thanks for commenting on the train symbols. BNSF line is about 2 miles south from Martinez Amtrak station, along Franklin Canyon.

Is it possible to find some place down there to film BNSF trains? I heard that the entire line down there runs along a bridge that wouldn't make for a very good video.

I've not visited Franklin Canyon, so I wouldn't know, but BNSF hasn't been running too many trains down there lately. If you are willing to drive, areas near Stockton is a decent place for both UP and BNSF trains.
