@ohmandamp prob is its IMPOSSIBLE to play two similar notes in a nice legato way, no matter how much you try. when u .lift the key up poof the sound is gone.

If you are speeking about 3rds or 4ths, there are tricks that don't require the pedal. For instance, I was taught to let go of the all the notes except for the primary melodical note before playing the next set of notes. The same goes for chords.
Otherwise, you are going to have to get faster moving between notes.
