Zaros is the son of zammy & an unknown woman,

Armadyll is the son of Saradomin & an unknown woman(historians think, it's also the mother of Zaros),

And Bandos is the son of Eileen (well, she's the forgotten goddess) and an elf.

(you should know: Eileen wasn't a goddess at her birth, guthix named her so)

It's a long story...

Guthix - the first god at all - had two sons. Zamorak and Saradomin. They grew up as "normal" humans, until Saradomin found out, who he was, and that he had a bro.

Saradomin became a great magician and Zamorak - who didn't knew who he was - was his apprentice. When Zamorak found out, who he was, he became VERY angry - and killed saradomin. that's why everybody thinks, that he's evil =(

@DmkRobert In my opinion, Zaros is neither evil nor good. Zamorak is evil as we all should know. Saradomin is good, but fights for good. Guthix is completely neutral.

Zaros is the empty lord, he is just a god. But my theory is that he was the god of conquest and manipulation and he conquered and ruled a third of gielinor and the fact that the ancient magicks are all manipulative freezing, stealing, lowering, poisoning.

and nex... the gods feared her.

she was a thing that grew in strength with every soul she devoured.

and well, the only reason we can kill her now is that when she was trapped by the other gods, she was weakened x a Google so yeah.

@DmkRobert Zaros is Evil and zamorak only started so he could steal zaros power by using the staff of Armadyl. the other gods where not part of that war but during the godwars they where but then zaros where in another dimension trapped. It isn't guthix land in any way it belongs to the elder gods and he slept during the entire 3rd age and halv of the 2nd.
