  • Yeah, Verdi... anything but baa baa blacksheep, aka twinkle twinkle little star (Garbo was no LITTLE star!) for this, or rather Mozart 's set on 'Ah je vous dirais-je maman'.

  • @PERRAPERICLES All right , I accept the criticism and I agree with you I also thought of "La Traviata" but let me say that I used this music just to show this in a fun way. I think the Garbo's life wasn't just shadows.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • Very interesting pictures, indeed. CAMILLE is one of Garbo's most beautiful films. Could anyone make a video of ON THE SET OF QUEEN CHRISTINA?

  • @MARTINKUK1 I'm just working on it. It's just a matter of time.

  • This is absolutely marvelous and astounding but the background music is absolutely S-T-U-P-I-D! :-)

  • Great images but the soundtrack sounds like something Chico Marx would parody. Couldn't you have used Verdi?

  • Wonderful photos here! George Cukor - from this point forward - was known as the true "Women's Director," and decades later the biggest female stars of the day (who had the clout) would insist on Mr. Cukor for their next film (Garland and Monroe among them). Greta knew that this particular film was probably her best and stayed close to Mr. C. until his death in 1983. P.S. Mr. Taylor was a true "looker," and I remember reading that he held the longest running-contract with MGM studios - ever.

  • It's fascinating xx

  • My goodness. Robert Taylor was extremely good looking.

  • Fabulous, just out of character. And being herself, so rare. Love it!!

  • Simply Fabulous clippings -- love it! and the movie is so moving, with great performances by Great Garbo and Robert Taylor.

  • I'm glad, lookig forward to it with equal emotions like other Garbo's fans. She was absolutely wonderful in QUEEN CHRISTINA
