It was a damage (sospension don't know what) on the hgv. 7 people died.

@PanzerErwin I think it was the car that exploded. The first car that the truck hits seems to get crushed, probably resulting in the fuel tank exploding.

1) It wasnt the drivers fault (failed suspension)
2) The driver could have easily been British, Dutch, German, Polish, Bulgarian etc. We have economies, does that ring a bell?

It was found to be mechanical failure of the 5th wheel. Nothing the driver could have done about it.
