sex has nothing to do with stragith edge it is practiced by alot of sxe ppl but its still not part of it. some also practice veganism but ya basically its just dont drink,dont smoke,dont do drugs thats it where you take it from there its all you. then there is what kind of edge are you there is posi which is live positive and drug free and promote that way and then there is the militant side which is conform or fight which is wrong

@threex1 To add more, it's your choice, your life. If being Straightedge means no kissing unless you're in a serious relationship and that's what you feel is right, then that is what it means to you. Ask yourself what it means, and live your life based on that. It's not about BEING straightedge, it's about living a clean and healthy lifestyle, so whatever being "clean" and "healthy" means to you should help you figure out what your straightedge promise should consist of.

@threex1 Ok, here are my thoughts on the sXe lifestyle... First off, it's an individual choice with individual aspects. (Keeping in mind the basics). Straightedge is NOT about a specific style of music preference, or style of dress. It is NOT about belonging or rebelling. It's NOT about a specific race or gender... Straightedge is about making a promise to yourself to live a better, cleaner, healthier lifestyle. Don't use the lifestyle to label yourself, rather to better yourself.
