@maynord1420 Well, i ended up getting a fila from brazil lol, i actually live here now. i have two filas, my youngest pup is 3 months old and i can see he is going to be huge, i also have an english mastiff... but thats a total different breed. if i could choose a breed to keep for the rest of my life i would choose a fila, no other breed is so good with the house family and so protecting of it as well.

@Breziil21 You cant socialize a real Fila. Its in their nature to hate strangers. I have an American one and he is basically like a big lab. I have a Brazilian one and no one other than my wife and kid can go near him or even look at him for that matter. Sounds like you have an american one like one of mine. Not the real CAFIB Fila.

@Leandroferron A real fila will be great with their immediate family (kids) And never let him around your kids friends. That could be a death sentence! If you want the real deal DO NOT GET HIM IN THE U.S. Get one from Brasil. Minas Gerais to be exact. If you want a mild one and more trusting with strangers get one in the states but don't breed one from the states unless your absolutely sure its a CAFIB Fila.

agressive my ass they don´t like stranger´s that is the big diferençe fila is a high protective and loyal dog, if you foget that for you are in deap shit. rottweiller is no better than fila in guard

@TheVillain cant believe its been two years since last view to your vid, i ended up getting a fila, hes 6 months now. next week i will post a video. hes same color as yours.
-
brazilian fila no? Siempre he escuchado que esta raza es muy agresiva
-
Wow his balls are huge at only 10 months! Where'd you get him?

BEAUTIFUL Fila!
hmm I've always heard that this breed is very aggressive is that true?

@gfriklmm8 The breed has the potential to be aggressive, but not a vicious monster or anything. its a protective and loyal breed of dog and if you take the time to socialize and work with the dog it can easily be a trustworthy and safe dog. They dont like strangers though, so as long as you keep that in mind and make sure that random people cant approach the dog and the dog cant approach them without a proper introduction they can be fine.

very nice dog, i been wanting to get a fila but cant decide between a fila or a rottie. i can get either one for free since i know many breeders, is he good with kids?

If you can get either one... get a Rottie.
FAR more consistant temperment.
Kaz is good with my kids but could care less about anyone that doesnt live in his house. Typical Fila really.
