@skaha77 lmao dude orr changed hockey. he was the first defensmen to score 100 points. guy was a plus 124 in 1970. only player to ever lead the league in points and lead his team in PIM. Only player to win hart, art ross, con smyth, and norris trophy in same year. he could rush the puck like no one else. gretzky may have been the best scorer but orr was the best player period.

Keith Magnuson = good solid blueliner. Not a top 2 but great at 5 or 6 and could take a spot at the 4 spot

How nice to call him a clown several years after he was killed. He didn't have much talent; he did what he had to do, fight for his team in an era when it was tougher than the plastic NHL of today. Bet you didn't know that he blocked a shot of Brad Park's by his own mouth in 73 playoffs? How many of our wonder boys of today would do that? Tough isn't just whether you win a fight my man ... tough is going into a fight knowing you will loose.

Actually, Maggie became a decent player later on ... made the All Star game in fact. Maggie never dreamed of being Orr ... he was simply who he was. He would do anything for his teammates. friends .... he passed away of course ... people like him are a vanishing breed. And that's not a god thing ...
