The WH tractors of this vintage had tough gearboxes. The hydro models were strong, too.

That K241 is definitely points. You can see the points cover to the right of the PTO at 7:47. They made the C-101's in 1978-79 only and was replaced by the C-105, but essentialy the same. I have two of them, lol!
You may want to tell your customer to have his front bearings checked and spindles. Right as you were starting it up at 8:32, before it ran away, you could see the tractor move back and forth a little bit, but the tire didnt move, so it may be wallowed out and getting ready to break.
