I'm moving to Vista California to an apartment. My husband insists on havinga full length or 3 person couch, but our living room is a tad on the small side and I know that keeping Furniture on the smaller scale is better. The walls are either a light taupe or dark biege Which color couch should we get? I want the room to feel inviting and relaxing since it will be where company sits. I'm very retarded when it comes to home design. It's my first apartment and my mother has no design skills either

most important - what colors draw you to them? Then use those colors as the sofa color OR use a neutral color and your favorite colors as accents. Also, go out to nature or to Z gallery or potterbarn. Find the florals you like - those will also make your room come alive!

funnycow100 I can tell your already cool b/c of your cute name. Here's the easiest thing you can do - go to Barnes & Noble and look at your very favorite magazines. Then get all the pink & black pictures you like the best on your table and then take pictures of the pictures with a camera. Then go to the most inexpensive stores you can find and find some of the things that are in the pictures that you like. Please let me know how this goes for you!  Thanks for writing me. Alie

hi im a 13 year old girl and i have been trying to redo my room for 4 years now. I want a really cool room, i want it to be REALLY rocked out like lots of hot pink and black everywhere!! i was thinking because i love my music loud im going to get suround sound in my room. basicly i want a really awsome room if you can give my some ideas that would be great!!
