Playing the original Castlevania: Rondo of Blood on PSP

A brief playthough of the beginning of Rondo of Blood, the coveted Castlevania that was unreleased in the US. Fortunately, it will come packaged as an unlockable in the upcoming Dracula X Chronicles, which will be arriving on the PSP in a few weeks.

I tell you, it was a royal pain trying to get this game to run. I'd say it was worth it, no?

I apologize for the graininess of the video, but my current camera is mostly just good for pictures...

And of course, ratings/comments would be greatly appreciated. ^^

It was a very frutrating process. I'm actually thinking of deleting it now that I have the game on Dracula X Chronicles, where it runs infinitely better.

I really wish I could help you, but I did this about a year ago, and I can't seem to recall the process in detail. As a matter of fact, I kinda hoped that I would never have to think about it again once I was done.

hey no problem, I was wondering what the name of the snes emulator you are running. I have dracula x on it now for the snes and it only runs slow at certain points, then it seems to be running smoothly later on.

Let me know if you can get me the name of the snes emulator

The game in the video is Rondo of Blood which was for PC Engine, not Dracula X for the SNES. However, I do have an SNES emulator with Dracula X, and the slowdown in which you speak of is normal. PSP SNES emulation is not perfect, and games with a lot going on graphically (the fire in the background of Dracula X's stage one, for instance) will suffer slowdown no matter what. I don't believe there are any emulators that are an exception to this, though I haven't looked around in a few months.

Yeah that game is no walk in the park.I only play because it is fun and im a huge Castlevania fan.My favorite castlevania game has to be Rondo of blood yours?But my Most hated one Huanted Castle I hate that game.So whats your favorite and least Favorite?

Well ill tell your right now stay away from Huanted castle and Castlevania the Adventure Go watch Jedite1s review on them and you'll see why.

castlevania sotn is my fav and my least fav:well i havent played them all but im willing to since they r kick ass and they need a new last boss cause dracula is the same boss and he does the morph thing is getting old i mean killing Shaft should mean Dracula shud b gone for good and i kno D is the main boss but they just need to make 1 castlevania with D not the last boss.
