A short clip from an interview from 1989, my fave part of the interview all right here. I hope it plays properly for you. Let me know if it doesn't through a comment. Regis' wife Joy replaced Kathie Lee on this episode.

No, I don't own the Live! with Regis show, and I don't own WWE nor did I film this myself...I was 5 at the time, so I doubt I could sit still long enough to notice Mr. P on stage. That, and I hated him. No copyright infringement intended, just wanted to share this great clip which I fixed up through Windows Movie Manager.

  • @1:26 What does Curt say?

  • @papillonaquatique: I believe he says, I wear it out of the closet, or you wear that out of the closet...just a gay joke. LOL Not that I support gay bashing cuz I don't...but you can tell Hennig is just joking and not intending to push the buttons of the gay community.

  • This video is gold, so funny! Mr. Perfect was one of my favourites growing up, the only heel I actually liked - I loved his humour and wrestling style.

  • @skihippy: Glad you liked it :)

  • I always thought Lanny Poffo never got the credit due him for the promos he cut. I for one really looked forward to them when I was a kid. It was different than the usual scream nonsensically at the camera for 5 minutes

  • @porterism100: Then, I hated his voice, because he was always making fun of my faves, and was really smug...even as a 5 year old I didn't like those people LOL But now, at 25, I agree that he was a very entertaining and compelling heel. Thanks for the comment!!

    thanks for sharing!

  • @greatestgoalie25 You're welcome. It shouldn't tarnish the fact that he was an excellent wrestler and a lovely person.

  • @greatestgoalie25 Screw being politically correct. True tolerance and equality will come the day that no one is afraid to offend with a joke. :)
