Medvedev vows to crush insurgents

Russia's president has vowed to crush Islamist rebels fighting for independence in the country's northern Caucasus.




Dmitry Medvedev's tough talking followed an operation by Russian special forces in which 17 insurgents were killed in an attack on a small Ingushetia village.




Unconfirmed reports claim Russia's most wanted man, Doku Umarov, may have been among the dead.




Talking with his security chief, President Medvedev said efforts to eliminate rebels must continue.

Gaddaffi threatened the same thing, and look where he is. The UN must support Medevev, or Libya was all a staged CIA coup. Probably both.

They aren't fighting for independence, that would require the people to agree with the terrorists, yet the terrorists only brought death and chaos to its people, therefore they are already obsolete, and it must be carried through in regards with their destruction.

I do hope that people understand: hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness.

I wouldn't expect anything less, when those people that believe in these fundamentalists will voice their opinion...
