GH - Luke and Laura - 1979-1980 playlist p.200

Part 200 of L&L 79-80 playlist. 1980 Wyndams:The storage closet, the dance.... off the subject wow we hit PART 200!!! This has been a year's worth of L&L for the most part. On another side note.. this particular part is important if you watch Matuatay2's Endgame storyline.. I think it is about part 117-119.. it's 2001, Luke is drugged by Helena, and he is having difficulty with time. He and Laura are in a storage closet (they have filed for divorce) and he thinks he is here back 20+ years at Wyndams... it's really good stuff. I love it. Some of my favorite L&L stuff after this original Left handed Boy story.. and it was written by Anthony Geary and his writing partner Irene Suver. Check it out if you haven't already! Definitely worth it!)

Ahhh, their first dance.  Is that a waltz? Its the same dance they will do several times over the years. What made Hutch develop a soft spot for them? He could have killed them numerous times.

@sussezq He could have just busted in the laundry room and shot them fast but he paused to hear how happy they were and then they gave him a good excuse to keep them alive. Lol If i were him i would be cracking up behind the pillar

@brightblackasnight He had heard Frank Smith talk about the gold BEFORE he even went after them, he thought they knew something about it, he was more interested in the money from the gold than the payment for the hit obviously, and it made sense for him to not just blow them away, but to see if they had some information to lead him to greater gain. It was well conceived and plausible, IMHO.

After watching 200 parts in thought i better include my thanks to

you for all your hard work.Began watching GH around '82 after

Laura left.All the girls in my high school watched and i thought that

was a good way to meet some lol. After a couple episodes i was hooked.

Any couple who has shared a night like this can never completely emotionally divorce. Some piece of connection and meaning would always survive. When you see this episode after watching everything that comes before, it is one of the sweetest portrayals of a love story ever.

I'm trying hard to slow down to savor each & every moment of this love story nut it's so hard. The dance was absolutely breathtaking to watch made my heart beat faster. I love love how Laura let's Luke hold & kiss her so freely now that they are away from the prying eyes of Port Charles.

As I'm watching this for the about the, oh, fifth time in a week (!), I'm struck again by the trust that must have existed between Tony and Genie to put forth such beautiful passion and love between these characters. I don't think that actors can go to that place unless they are perfectly in tune with their screen partner. They are really the essence of a stunning pair, every sense of the word.
