Actually, she wasn't with Grissom so suddenly. If you pay close attention to the right episodes, she's known him for many years and liked him all along (for nine years, you find out in the espisode with the headless racer).

Sara and Grissom WERE going out buut, i'm pretty sure they broke up because sara left. we, Snickers (sara and nick fans) BELEIVE that nick and sara love each other and will end up together :)
