Here he is! Finally, after many years, I got a chance to see the great Pete Kember (aka Sonic Boom, formerly of Spacemen 3)... I filmed this at the Toronto record store Sonic Boom, in their basement where he did a 3 song set- February 4, 2008. The tune is 'Hall of Mirrors' by Kraftwerk.

Classic Kraftwerk - they should play it live ( same goes for Europe Endless). Petes looking and sounding good - he ought to release more stuff. Ive still not got this on record. ( I missed seeing him support MBV - online ticket agent fucked up)
Saw him supporting My Bloody Valentine in 1991/2(?) Digbeth Institute, Birmingham, England. Both were great. He was louder than them which was saying something.
Quite like his retro futuristic take on music.. always have. in 1989 playing velvet style drones and now in 2009 playing this phaedra/ kraftwerk 70s science fiction music. not sure about the jumper though, he looks like the postman on a day off.
Pete Kember is the best, sweater and the moccasins you can't see below. Especially the Bowie-esque page-turning, are these lyrics or song lists, maybe keyboard notation? I don't want to know, leave it a mystery. I'll see you at The Dark Room in Chicago on May First 2009 at 9pm. I hope you play Hall of Mirrors there too. Thanks, Pete.........
