Flow Chamber Test with Magnetic Beads and Magnetic Field (7)

This video starts with magnetic field ON. When the field is switched off an abnormal profile of particle streamline appears. This is because the chamber is not thoroughly filled with liquid. In the latter half of the video it can be seen that the fluid breaks and gold chip is exposed. This accidental drainage is caused by the subtle imbalance between the inlet pump and outlet pump. In this case the outlet pump is slightly stronger than the inlet pump. So as time goes by the fluid in the chamber is gradually drained.

In the end of this clip the outlet pump is manually turned off, leaving the inlet pump running only. In this way the chamber is filled back.
