ASUS G51VX-RX05

Playing Crysis on Asus gaming laptop.

Recorded with a camera. The amount of fps can be seen on the top left side of the screen (Fraps counter). All settings set to the HIGH. Runs at about 20-30fps will go down to as low as 15 at some parts depending on the amount of action, number of enemies, etc. but tends to quickly get back to above 20fps.

Overall, the game both plays great and looks terrific! It is very playable. I beat the game and I loved it. Again, the video doesn't do any justice to the laptop.

  • have you had any problems because of the slower processor speed? i know that 2 GHz isnt that good for gaming.

  • @drummermanryan Occasionally. The one I remember the most was with Saints Row 2. One of its system requirements was a +3.0 Ghz CPU, so it lagged pretty bad. I personally don't think the game was as optimized as it could've been because I played GTA 4 on this thing High-Med settings with no problems whatsoever.

  • are you running vista? or windows?

  • @JonahhChavarria I thought Vista was Windows. I was running it on Windows 7 Home Premium (OS it came with).

  • is ther a disc drive in the laptop?

  • @XMajorasMaskX Yeah, a DVD-RW drive.
