@CerberusBrown Please name your sources. Your 50-60 year time span contradicts the documentry "into entenity". The Onaklo storage facility in Finland is being prepared to store waste for 10,000 years and all the precautions that go with keeping it safe for this period of time. Why would they go to this trouble if you can "rub it on your skin" after 50-60 years? I also see from your profile you're 21 years old? That's not many years on this earth to be making such confident statements!

LFTR and MSR type breeder reactors will be able to burn this waste once they come online- if ever. Meantime we spend wads of cash storing the stuff, another lobying group plugged into the government tax and spend cycle..............
Enjoy the drama we in the USA did trying to develop our Yucca Mountain storage site........
