hey guys! sup? thx for the vid! i've got a question though: i've been using coconut coals... it used to go well... it's been week my hookah seems to be burning weirdly! am i not lighting the coal fully? thx!

@rufiorocksmysocks We talk a bit about Coconut coals in our upcoming video (should be up in a day or two) but it's hard to say without actually being there to see it/smoke it. How do you mean it's burning wierdly? Like it doesn't smoke as much, or doesn't taste good, or what? Elaborate a little and we can try our best to help you out :)

@dnbhookah wow, thank you so much for the qucik reply! =) yeah, sometimes it tastes burnt... sometimes almost no taste... =( so i put more water into the vase, and it seems to help a bit, but still not the best result... also, i use a thin foil on it... that also could be the culprit, huh? i find that the more water, the less harsh it gets... but as you increase water, you lose a little bit of taste, is that correct? i'm getting a heavy duty foil today. =) thx again and cheers from brazil =D

@rufiorocksmysocks Don't overfill the base or when you take a hit the water may bubble all the way up to the hose valves and get into the hoses. The more water you have, the less smoke you'll get. I'd say keep the stem from 0.5 - 1.5 inches submerged in the water. As for the foil, I've always preferred a happy medium between thin and thick. Thin foils can heat up too much and burn to fast, when heavy foils can take enough heat to put your coal out entirely.

@rufiorocksmysocks But I've also learned especially with Coconut coals (we've used Coco Nara and Coca Mazaya) that you'll get a better session if you keep turning them onto a new, warmer side about every 10 minutes. They're smaller, so they seem to go out faster. When you see the bottom of the coal starting to turn black again, just use your tongs to turn it over to another side of the coal. Hope this helped!

when you use milk, only fill it about half way then fill the other half with water. some flavors work better with other drinks. i have a cocojumbo (coconut flavor) and it taste really good with lemonade and water in the base. but anyways, if you fill the base with all milk, you will have milk go into your hose and it will ruin the hookah session.

@dnbhookah Hey guys, great video, hope you're pleased to know your videos reached the other side of the work (UK) lol. Jus thought i'd let u guys know that here when we change the coals, we usually take the head off and blow it out through the bottom (depending on how big the head is. Jus gets rid of the ashy smoke that u get from a dying coal. Other than that keep smoking :D wish shisha flavours were as cheap here ! Starbuzz is so hard to find !!! :(
