Strange Lights Over Akron OH - Dec. 2011

BEST VIEWED ON A SMALLER SCREEN!

At 6:00 PM on Monday December 26, 2011 my friends and I spotted 4 strange lights making formations over the Cuyahoga Valley National Park from our vantage point at Chapel Hill Mall in Akron Ohio.

While observing these lights in the distance, one of the same objects flew almost directly overhead in the mall parking lot. It looked somewhat like an open flame flying quickly and silently across the sky. This is when we decided to go get the cameras.

The objects lingered in the airspace for hours, bouncing around, making formations, following jet planes and helicopters. They would vanish and reappear, stop and go, travel up and down, and had unhuman-like mobility.

Hundreds of people HAD to have witnessed this event as well, please respond if you were a witness!

I lived in the Cuyahoga valley national park and have witnessed these before. I now live close to the mall in Munroe Falls and have witnessed the same objects here as well. People think I am crazy, because they have not yet had the opportunity to see these fireballs. They are amazing, whatever they are. It seems like they are showing themselves more. I just glad that someone else is seeing them now . Please keep me updated.

@caleb02291968 You know, when we first got to the mall and saw these things we were facing west, and they were over the CVNP (near the SW end of it I think).

That's when they were like lining up, kind of like making formations (triangles and what not). There was about three of them at that point.

You have clearer sky's out there at night, so I'm sure you see these all the time.

Try and get some footage and keep me updated with what you're seeing too!

@breakinreno11 There is quite a few videos coming out of Akron, and if you look at the national UFO sighting map located here (Google it); you can plainly see that Summit Co. is hot spot!

Update: Just found my Akron Ohio ACME #18 grocery receipt and was informed by the store - my visit was not mid December 2011 but 12-24-11 @ 6:06 PM so my sighting is a day before Christmas about 6:10 PM - two days before this sighting - not far from Rolling Acres Mall !

December 16, 2011 @ about 6:15 PM - I saw three lights - red, white and blue - in triangular formation not far from Rolling Acres Mall on Wooster Rd. North in Barberton, OH. They seemed to be connected together and hovering above the Telephone Company near Papa John's Pizza. I turned onto the road between these two businesses only to see a blinking mist where the lights had been in the sky. VERY strange! Thank you for posting your close sighting! I see that I'm not alone!
