  • I've been working as a structural engineer for 6 years now. At work I have never had to use more than trig and geometry. In school they make you take the differential equations so you can understand the theories behind the structural engineering equations. But when you're out in the real world, you will probably never take another derivative again.... until you're helping your 16 year old with high school calculus.

  • Good a real engineer, pretty and modest too.

  • @emergencyme1 make your own choice in life and don't let others determine your future. You are fortunate enough to get an opportunity to attend college and choose whatever you want.

  • female architects and engineers really inspires me... very inspiring video...ty

  • @MrGentlehand is that funny?

  • @Lan5in6 That was really mean. Anyway, you will want to stay away from the northeast if that is the case.

  • @kms382 maybe where you're from...shurely you check calculations? let me know what projects you've worked on so i can stay the fuck away from them

  • high heels and a suit.....lol

  • very true. I was just discussing that with a coworker today. You forget how many equations go into designing a building when you rely on computer modeling.

  • @kms382 Actually you do, but not you. The computer is doing everything for you these days. ;)

  • she was like me. i also was intresting in architectur, but my talents are math and science. so im studying engineer now. And Im happy with my decision.
