I've gotten a couple of requests for why this video is so personal. My aunt is in the film. I saw it by chance and called my sister. You got it!! Then we both called her children (our nephews and neices). Well, there went the carefully cultivated image of refined conservatism. Oh yes, she's the one in the white bathing suit, dead center.

Hey robert, I took a hard look at her, she is just so funny, you got a sharp eye , all the rest of us guys were distracted by all them legs lol

@Robert11xyz LOL re the chorus girl! Makes you wonder what she and the dancer next to her may have been talking about just before the director yelled 'action'. Love seeing 'human' moments like that caught on film from those days.

This really rocks!

Just Wonderful!

Wonderful clip. Enthusiastic dancers those Schutts girls!! great reminder of the fun of a great band.

Not sure what to say about this video. It gets 5 stars for sheer novelty.

Those girls had gorgeous legs
Hey D, thanks for a real kippy film! A swell romp by a hot band, and those tomato's really know how to fan those gams too!
My research indicates that this was filmed at the Steel Pier, Atlantic City, NJ, July 17, 1930. The dames kickin' up a wind with their 'get-away sticks' are Norma Schutt's chorus girls. Hotcha!

This is one of my favorite You-Tube films for a very personal reason.
BUT, if you want a moment of reality take a look at the fifth from the left dancer in the first 10 seconds. Watch her mouth:
pout,
clean under her lip,
snide smile,
professional smile.
She's a gas!
