When I try to do the graphic install, it freezes after saying "detect network hardware"

@tjrieves this might be due to a magnitude of reasons. a freeze at that point indicates that there is something wrong with your machine or the install-media. try it on a different computer (if you have another).

There are a lot of "iso" files, which one do I download?

@Keto2878 depends, but i usually grab the full "h t t p - f t p" ISOs and burn them to a blank media.

@wedovoodoo I know it's 10 months later, but I had the same problem. Disable your floppy drive controllers and anything floppy-related in BIOS and try again. Wait for a while when it gets to that step after doing that, and it'll work.

How do i install it without erasing my windows OS, I mean dual boot

Tried to switch from Ubu to Debian yesterday without luck. Can't even get the wireless work (didn't try the cable net).
