  • @rob825 I'm not. I like both, and many bands gave them a tribute (Dimmu Borgir, Six Feet under, Dream Theater, Deicide, etc...). Deep Purple are the pioneers of hard rock and metal music, and they still rock after more than 40 years. Deicide are a very good band, and I like their lyrics too.

Paying a tribute to another band is only sign of appreciation!

  • @rob825 lol, how many dislikes are NOT from stubborn deep purple fans?

  • @SpoonfullofSandrock If we want to be precise, many consider Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry to be the first "rockers" (if we can use that term).

  • @darthfener2 Deep Purple were ONE of the pioneers of metal, not THE pioneers.
