I know what I'm listening to before I go to sleep

This toys are definitely intended for kids with finesse, I would have knocked the tower down with a sledgehamer and then complain how it wasn't like legos and I could'nt put it back together.

@kerbal666 OH MAN NO WAY I NEVER NOTICED THAT
THE TOY MAKER MUST HAVE INTENDED THE PRICE TO BE THAT WAY OR SOMETHING, THIS IS CLEARLY A DEMONIC EVIL TOY
Fuck you.

That actually looks cool... DESTRUCTION OH YEAH!!!!

Hey kids you too can play along to your favourite scenes from 9/11!!
Anyone noticed this was priced only a 1 and a . away from 666?

Is it bad that I actually find this toy endearing? Earthquakes are obviously not a joking matter and everything, but this is a toy, which is only designed to bring innocent fun to children and a cutesy, abstract replication of reality. I mean, the set even comes with fire trucks and emergency helicopters, which ultimately teaches children that they should do their best to help if ever such a troublesome situation arises.

Toy maker Remco obviously released this play set in '76 to capitalize on the mega-success of the '74 Universal all-star disaster block-buster 'Earthquake' staring Charlton Heston, Ava Gardner, Lorne Greene, Richard Roundtree, George Kennedy, and MANY other Hollywood stars.

That's a pretty jaunty march tune playing over the sound effects. Almost reminds me of a circus...a circus where people are falling out of a building and screaming.
