This video tribute is in honor of my sister, Kimberly Pospisil, who passed away 20 years ago yesterday. It is set to Clint Black's "Little Pearl and Lily's Lullaby", which describes the emotion and anticipation that Clint and Lisa felt upon learning they would be having a baby daughter. When I first heard it, all I could think about was that this must be how my parents felt about Kim being born. This video montage highlights Kim's birth and Mom and Dad's excitement upon becoming first-time parents.
Kimberly was killed in a car crash returning home from BYU on April 27th, 1989. We have just passed twenty years without our dear daughter and sister, but this video is not meant to dwell on her death but instead to pay tribute to her arrival and to how much joy she brought each of us. I also know she would have loved Clint Black and would have been there with us at many of his concerts! The song perfectly illustrates all the varied emotions a parent feels towards his or her daughter, and I am so glad that Clint wrote and recorded it. We love you, KIM!! Love, Doug

our daugher was born in Feb 1989. she died in a car accident Dec 31st, 2008. i heard this song many years back. Thanks for putting it up. i am sending it to my nephew and his wife who are expecting their first child in July.
