  • Great Video, where is a good online source to purchase capacitors?

  • @dlwright2009 Hi, google justradios capacitors. They are the best source for high voltage capacitors like used for antique radio repair.

  • You got any good general knowledge books you might suggest? I got an old Hallicrafters 5R32 I would love to repair...Thanks.

  • @trotp3 Hi, I cant think of any books at the moment, but please pay a visit to the antique radio forums. Google that and it should be the first result. Lot of WONDERFUL nice people with lots and lots of experience that will get you on your way. Learned at least half of all I know from them.

  • Hey ! Nice video ! Very informative. I have an old radio that has an electrolytic capacitor that has three red wires and one black grd wire coming out of the end. The labeling says 30 MFD 150 Volts. Does that mean there are three 10 MFD or each is 30 MFD ? Confused

    Thanks

    David
