smalin/musanim never fails to draw me back to his website more than any online... smalin's work provides a ray of light in dark times... and it will be a 'super ray of light' as a hologram in my living room one day!... projection rights please? ;o) - hyper dolby surround sound obviously inclusive. ;o)

If you want to project this, I recommend the iPad version (there's a link to it on the original version of this on my smalin YouTube channel).

No - i mean 'project' this as a 3D holo-image in the middle of my living room - ;o) ha! - that tech is not quite here yet - but it's worth consdering now that media is going 3D eh Mr. Malin? - why not experiment in 3D graphic music constructs too?

Sorry, that's for somebody else to do. I'm much more into message than medium.

... erm... but don't you already construct the graphics for these music pieces? - in which case - aren't you just as much into the 'medium' too???

Only to the extent that it gets the message across. I use the simplest tools I can to get the job done (simple geometric forms, simple kinds of motion). There are ways that my scores could be made more like "eye candy," and I'm not saying that might not be worth doing. But it's not what I'm into at the moment.

This one is so darkly depressing.

Sorry, I don't know what Beyer is. I would suggest getting a good teacher, at least to get you started in the right direction.

I had lessons when I was younger but the extent of my study was beyer.. I continued playing until today and I do play in church and etc but classically I don't know where I stand in terms of level. Where should I begin? should I go back to beyer again? that was a giant bore for me back then =)

It might take more if you're older, but if you want to play the piano and have the discipline to practice 5000 hours, you should give it a shot. You'll be able to tell after 1000 hours whether you're making significant progress.
